Beyonce Too Hot for British TV?

Beyonce Promoting Her New Fragrance - Heat

We all love Beyonce, and think she's sexy as hell. Well, it seems the censors in Great Britain thinks she's a little TOO sexy. At least in the commercial she did for her new perfume, Heat. The UK's Advertising Standards Authority has banned the commercial from daytime television.

“Beyonce’s body movements and the camera’s prolonged focus on shots of her dress slipping away to partially expose her breasts created a sexually provocative ad that was unsuitable to be seen by young children,” the ASA said in a statement. “We considered that the ad should not have been shown before 7.30pm due to the sexually provocative nature of the imagery.”

But it added that although the advert "was sexually suggestive and might therefore be distasteful to some," in the context of marketing for perfume it was "unlikely to cause serious or widespread offence to most viewers."
The ASA made the decision to place the ban after receiving 14 complaints from viewers who said that they're children had seen the ad while watching daytime television.

"Although we considered that the ad was unlikely to be harmful to adults or older children, we considered that Beyonce’s body movements and the camera’s prolonged focus on shots of her dress slipping away created a sexually provocative ad that was unsuitable to be seen by young children," a spokesperson for the ASA said.

Well, it is true that there's a shot of Beyonce lying naked on a bed, and then walking around in silky red dress feeling herself, and . . . well, check out the commercial yourself. Enjoy!
